The students at Senior Secondary level are old enough to decide about their future. The curriculum is diversified with a number of elective groups in Science, Commerce and Humanities. The purpose of education at this level is to increase productivity, achieve social and national integration, and to accelerate the process of modernization. This is actually the terminal point for the majority of children, who may become qualified for gainful employment and who play their roles as useful members of the democratic society.
