Guidelines for Students

  • All the students must possess school diary, text-books, note books, stationery etc.
  • Students are advised not to bring valuable articles to the school. The school will not be responsible for any such loss.
  • School bus users must strictly observe the rules of the school transport.
  • Application for leave must be submitted a day in advance. It should be counter signed by the parent/guardian.
  • Students must come in school uniform.
  • They must be clean, neat and tidy.
  • Students must obey House Captains and other students on duty.
  • Students are not allowed to leave the school during working hours unless the parents/guardians whose signatures are on the admission forms and the school diary come in person.
  • School identity cards must be with the students on all working days.
  • Students should be regular in attendance.
  • Any damage to the school property by the student will have to be borne by the student’s parents/guardians.
  • The school reserves the right to take stern action, even to strike off the name of the students who are found guilty of misconduct

Guidelines for Parents


  • Use the school diary as a means of communication with the class teacher and check the diary daily for home work & the teacher’s remarks, if any.
  • Sign the test copies/paper as and when sent home by the school.
  • See that your ward has all the text books, items of stationery, craft materials etc. right in the beginning of the session.
  • Ensure that all the books and notebooks are covered with brown paper, having a sticker at the right top.
  • Ensure that your ward comes to school in proper uniform with polished shoes, trimmed hair and clean nails.
  • Send the children regularly and punctually to school. No absence will be permitted without a leave application. Late-comers will not be allowed to sit in the class.
  • Both the parents must attend the Parent-Teacher Meet.
  • Parents can visit www.davhehal.net website to seek any kind of information regarding the children for academic progress & fees. They can collect the passwords of their wards from the class teachers and monitor the progress and performance of their ward on the internet.

Today’s children are our future. They come to the school for their overall development. That means development of personality which is not only academic but physical & mental also. We are trying our best to inculcate these qualities in them but without your co-operation it is not possible to achieve this goal.

If you ponder over the following points you will be making your child a person with substance.

  • The children should come to school in neat and tidy uniform, shoes should be polished. The shades of uniform not prescribed by the school will not be allowed.
  • Nails should be trimmed and the students should have their hair cut at regular intervals. In case girls have long hair, it should be tied neatly.
  • Always send two white napkins, a half pant, lunch box and a water bottle along with your ward to school.
  • Each child’s name and address should be clearly written on his/her bag and bottle.
  • Books and copies should be covered with brown paper.
  • Before sending your child to school please check his/her school bag. He/She should bring the required books and copies according to routine only.
  • Student’s diary is the medium of interaction between parents and teachers, so please check the diary daily and sign it.
  • Fill in the first page of the diary the day your child gets it.
  • Kindly follow the above points strictly and co-operate with the institution.It is for the betterment of your child.

Additional Guidelines

  • The child’s identity page in the diary bearing a passport size photograph and the address of the student will remain in his/her custody all the time.
  • Private Tuition should, as a rule be discouraged as they sap the initiative of the students. Parents are requested not to approach the school teachers for tuition.
  • Last Saturday of every month is a Parents’ Day. Your visit to the school on the Parents’ day will be of much use to the students whatever their academic level.
  • Do not send the child to school in case of an infectious disease and a medical certificate should be furnished from a medical authority at the time of rejoining the school after illness.
  • Do not walk into the class room or meet the teacher in the classroom. Please see the teacher with prior appointment through Principal.
  • Do not visit the teachers at their residence.
  • Do not send money or valuable articles with the students. The school takes no responsibility in case they are lost.
